Michael Baker

In late 2003, on the heels of two aspiring careers in both the music/video entertainment and electronics R&D industries, Michael Baker’s interests took a mysterious twist when be began to research historical and popular accounts of paranormal activity, an interest spawned from his own personal, and unexplainable experiences as child growing up in Arlington, Massachusetts. By 2005, having developed a successful wedding and commercial videography business, (Digital 3 Media), Michael developed the urge to utilize the video medium in a more creative and less commercial way, that would also be separate from his already growing business.

By 2006 Michael co-founded New Gravity Media a privately funded independent film company and began writing; directing and producing the full length feature film "14 Degrees - A Paranormal Documentary". Since its release in October 2007, 14 Degrees has sold successfully in every state in the U.S as well as 16 countries around the world and has won the 2008 Aegis Video production award. The two years of extensive research that went into preparing for this film took Michael over 6000 miles across the northeastern United States to document and participate in dozens of paranormal investigations as well as interview and learn from some of the most popular and respected names in the paranormal field such as (John Zaffis, Steve Gonsalves, and Keith Johnson).

Over recent years, Michael’s expertise and involvement in the paranormal field has flourished. He has worked with, instructed and consulted for dozens of paranormal teams and investigators across the U.S. and has become a nationally recognized authority on paranormal technology, evidence analysis and scientific investigation techniques.

Since 2006 Michael has been a member in good standing of the Boston Paranormal Investigators Team, he is founder of The New England Center for Paranormal Research and honorary member of Para- Boston Investigators, New York Ghost Hunting Team, as well as The Association for the Scientific Study of Anomalous Phenomena.

Your Hosts

Al Shephard Sr.
Creator & Co-Host

Al has always had an interest in paranormal things, and like you, he hopes to learn a lot from this show.

Al started this journey in 2008, when he created Bennington Rocks, a music show featuring unsigned pop/rock artists, on 1370 AM WBTN.

During 2009, he launched You Space Radio, a 24/7 internet station to promote unsigned artists. He also expanded Bennington Rocks to two hours, adding karaoke singers and unsigned country artists.

In May 2009, he hatched the idea of a show dealing with the paranormal, Haunted America Radio.

2009 ended with Al becoming a full-time employee at WBTN, pulling multiple duties as Station Technician, Music Programmer, Production Editor, Board Op, and Host. This full schedule meant something had to give, so both "Bennington Rocks" and "You Space Radio" went on indefinite hiatus.

In 2010, Al threw out the idea that although they were 3,000 miles apart, Ronnie Lee Hurst should join him in hosting a new show called Country Dreams, devoted to independent country artists and singer/songwriters. He also resurrected You Space Radio as an in-game radio station for the online virtual world "Entropia Universe", now running under the name "Club Calypto".

Al Shephard Jr.
Co-Host

Like his father, Al Jr. has always had an interest in the paranormal, and he's hoping to learn some cool stuff.

Al is talented in music, creating two albums completely by himself, playing most parts and sampling the rest.

He also shoots video at the local teen club, edits it, and plays it on the local cable access channel in Bennington, VT.

Al is currently founding a new paranormal group in the Southwestern Vermont area, and is hoping to shoot video for a new paranormal show, to be shown on his local channels as well as over the net.
